In 2024, a new definition of "unity" came into being. The meaning of what it is to work together was transformed, born out of the brain of a great felon. There was a great need in the great nation to be great again, strong again, and safe again, and in order to make this happen, this new great unity was needed.
A unity that banned people who were different from joining this great nation. A unity that forbade those with uteri to do with that uteri as they pleased. A unity that created fear and distrust and a variety of "isms" around those who wished to make their voices heard. A unity that made it ok to destroy land and extract resources. A unity that welcomed hate, especially of those whose skin color didn't rhyme with "smite".
Yes, this unity broke the mold of the unity from the 60's, 70's 80's 90's and oughts. This unity put the "UN" back into the idea of unity. It UN-unified! Some say this vision came from a collective vision of great thought leaders, others say it emerged from the wisdom that arose when part of an ear gets shot off. Many believe the definition has always been there, just needed the right person to interpret it.
